Counting down our top 100 movies of all time

With our podcast having reached the five year mark last month, we realized that 1) Damn that's a long time, and 2) it's time to do something we've been talking about for quite some time...put together out top 100 movies of all time lists.

This is a debate I'm sure you've had many times drunk with your friends, and we're no different. Putting our money where our mouth is, we began the journey of revisiting all our favorite films from throughout our lives in an exercise that has proven to be very nostalgic and eye opening. I think it's something we should all do at some point, as it really has become about more than movies, and a trip down memory lane and some of the most impactful times in our lives and the things we associate with them.

It's important to note before we get into the actual lists, that these are not what we think are the BEST movies of all time, but our own lists curated based on our favorites. These movies hold a special place in our hearts, and are the most enjoyable pieces of film we've ever seen. Is it the AFI top 100 list? Hell no! We don't have film degrees, we don't sniff our wine before we drink it, and we probably don't know what we're talking about. What makes these lists so special, and why we're so pumped to share them with you in a continuous countdown over the next year on our podcast, is they are unabashedly ours.
