As many of you probably know, I am the resident Marvel fanboy on the Bro Force Squad Podcast. I grew up reading Iron Man and the Avengers, and although my mom claims otherwise I'm pretty sure my first word was "Mjolnir".
It's no secret that Marvel Studios is trying to do something unprecedented with their weaving of the MCU and their television properties. While very peripheral in their connective tissue so far, I have a feeling things are about to hit a head in the Summer of 2018 when a little movie called Avengers: Infinity War comes out. The first Marvel Television property to be linked to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, was none other than Agents of SHIELD.
If you aren't watching the show every Tuesday night, don't worry. It is now three and a half seasons in, and might be one of the best kept secrets on television. Without spoiling things, the show really found it's legs in the second half of it's first season after a grueling start that led many to dub it "Agents of SUCK". Now the show is running on all cylinders while laying some incredible connections to the summer blockbusters that Marvel is releasing.
Wish you could see the real in depth fallout of HYDRA being revealed inside of SHIELD? Ever wonder how the Avengers knew where Loki's scepter was in the beginning of Age of Ultron? Agents of SHIELD explains it. Want to see Ghost Rider's debut in the MCU? They got you covered. If you aren't watching yet, check it out next Tuesday at 10/9 CT on ABC. I'm not being paid to say this, I just want to help my fellow fanboys out. Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
